Arts and Culture in Marysville, OH

We are so fortunate to have several options when it comes to art in Marysville. Whether its visual art, dance, drama or music, Marysville has it!

Visual Art

Marysville Art League:

The Marysville Art League was established in 1979 by community members with a shared passion for art. They offer several art classes including pottery, sewing, stained glass, mixed media, painting and more!

Crooked Door Studios:

Crooked Door Studios is an art studio founded by Shawnna Sue, where she teaches a variety of painting classes and holds open studios for artists to work on their own projects.

Dance

The Academy:

Founded in 2016, The Academy is known in Marysville and the neighboring communities for its exceptional dance training and inviting atmosphere. 

​

Energy Arts Dance:

For over 30 years, Energy Arts Dance of Marysville, OH has provided Performing Arts training to students of all ages and abilities.

​

In Step Dance Center:

In Step Dance Center is a place for students to learn, grow, and become confident in their own unique abilities to further themselves in life while having fun.

Drama

Encore:

Encore is a community theater group for incoming freshmen through the age of 20. They focus on getting as many kids involved as possible in as many aspects of their yearly production.

Summer Theater: 

Summer Theater Workshop was created to educate children grades five through eight about all aspects of musical theater
while inspiring creativity and confidence.

Silver Scene Players:

Silver Scene Players are all about giving to the community. Yes we do indeed do this by bringing the joy of theatre to the community

Music

Singsations:

The Singsations is a non-auditioned choral group for adults from Union County and the surrounding area that strive to share our love of music with friends and family within our community. Concerts are free to the public with donations accepted.

Union Music Hall: 

Founded in 2004, Union Music Hall began in the back of J&L's Music store, where our owner, Terry Hartman, taught violin lessons. In 2018, we independently became known as Backroom Music Studios and have since grown our family of teachers and students, offering a variety of opportunities in instruments, recitals, and orchestral groups.
